Las Vegas, NV – One Killed, Two Hurt in Wreck on 215 Beltway

Las Vegas, NV (May 28, 2024) – One person lost their life, and two others sustained injuries after a crash happened on Sunday, May 26. 

The two-car accident occurred on the 215 Beltway, just west of the Jones Boulevard off-ramp. Reports from authorities show the incident occurred at around 4:00 a.m. Preliminary reports show a 2013 Kia Optima was headed east on 215 when it was involved in a crash with a 2022 Toyota Corolla. The Kia then turned clockwise and drove across all travel lanes into the right-paved shoulder prior to striking a concrete barrier. The Toyota then rotated counterclockwise back across all travel lanes into the left paved shoulder before striking a concrete barrier wall. State Police in Nevada reported that two individuals were taken to the hospital. The person operating the  Toyota was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Her name has not been reported so far.
