Nevada Car Wrecks

Tens of thousands of car crashes happen in the United States every single day. Over 17,000 accidents are reported daily throughout the nation. These accidents cause over 7,500 people to sustain injuries each day and more than 100 people to lose their lives. Sadly, the majority of these wrecks are preventable and caused by driver negligence. In the past ten years, negligent driving has become a serious and problematic issue in the United States. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that more than 94% of the national accident fatality rate is caused by the actions of negligent drivers. The most common types of negligent driving seen among American drivers today include:

  • Distraction
  • Intoxication
  • Fatigue
  • Speeding

For example, over 400,000 auto collisions happen each year in the US caused by distracted driving. Additionally, over 3,000 people end up losing their lives in these wrecks. Fatigued driving is behind approximately 100,000 yearly crashes and around 1,500 deaths, while driver intoxication makes up over 30% of the national fatality rate related to car crashes.

When you or a loved one has been hurt in a crash that you believe was caused by a negligent driver, you should not have to worry about money while you are trying to recover.
