Whitney, NV (August 11, 2024) – A car crash was reported to police in Whitney on the evening of August 11. Reports show at least one person was hurt in the wreck that occurred at around 6:15 p.m. Several emergency crews were dispatched to the scene on Jimmy Durante Boulevard near Stephanie Street shortly after the wreck. Ambulances were available to transport victims to the hospital if needed. At this time, the extent of the injuries suffered in the wreck remains under investigation. The road was closed while emergency crews were present in the area, forcing local drivers to use alternate routes.
