Nevada Car Wrecks
Car accidents are one of the main reasons individuals lose their lives in the United States. In fact, people aged 15-20 most often lose their lives due to traffic collisions in the US. Americans who end up with car accident injuries often have their entire lives turned upside down while they deal with painful injuries, emotional turmoil, and financial burdens.
In the state of Nevada, the fatality rate related to car crashes is slightly higher than the US average, with 10.10 fatalities per 100,000 residents compared to 11.78. Nevada saw 396 traffic accident deaths in 2022, which is 34 higher than the initial 382 fatalities reported early in January. Every day in the United States, more than 17,000 auto accidents occur that injure around 7,500 people and take the lives of over 100 individuals. Yearly, about 3 million individuals are hurt in car accidents and approximately 40,000 lose their lives.
Those who suffer injuries in auto collisions often end up in the hospital where they must undergo medical care that is overwhelming and expensive.
