Silver Springs, NV – Two Killed in Wreck on I-80 near USA Pkwy

Silver Springs, NV (April 10, 2024) – A traffic accident took two lives in Silver Springs on April 8. Shortly before 7:00 p.m., the wreck occurred on Interstate 80 near the USA parkway. Reports from the Nevada State Police show that a commercial vehicle and a sedan were involved in a collision. The driver and one passenger inside the sedan lost their lives at the scene. Another passenger who was in the sedan at the time of the accident was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, no one involved has currently been identified. The westbound lanes of the interstate were closed at the USA Parkway and traffic was diverted to the northbound lanes of the USA Parkway. Police in Silver Springs continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
