Reno, NV – Pyramid Hwy Site of Injury Car Accident at Los Altos
Reno, NV (August 15, 2024) – Nevada State Police and local Reno-area deputies are currently investigating the details of a traffic accident that occurred on the Pyramid Highway Thursday afternoon, August 15, just outside of Sparks.
The Nevada Department of Transportation said the road was closed shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, close to the intersection with the Los Altos Parkway. Drivers were asked to avoid the area while police and other responders worked at the scene. Those who sustained injuries were transported to the hospital for treatment; however, their identities have not been reported at this time, and it’s unknown how many people were ultimately hurt in the incident. Police continue to investigate in the interim, however.
