Reno, NV (May 29, 2024) – A man lost his life in a traffic accident in Reno on Wednesday afternoon, May 29. He was identified as a former Washoe County District Attorney and a U.S. District Court judge, Larry Hicks. Hicks was reportedly struck by a vehicle while walking on South Virginia Street near California Avenue. Several responders were seen rendering aid at the scene including members of Reno Fire, Reno Police, and REMSA. The accident happened at around 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Police continue to investigate the details of the incident.
