Reno, NV – Injury Car Crash on Mt Rose & Watt Sts

Reno, NV (August 16, 2024) – On Thursday, August 15, there were confirmed injuries resulting from a car crash in the Reno area. The accident was reported early that afternoon around 1:21 p.m. at the intersection of Mt. Rose Street and Watt Street. At least one person involved was hurt, and emergency crews were dispatched to render the necessary medical aid. 

The extent and number of resulting injuries have not been determined at this time. The injured parties were later transported to local hospitals by ambulance. The roadway was temporarily closed until tow trucks could remove the damaged vehicles and reopen the road to outside traffic. No additional information on the accident has been provided at this time. However, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
