Reno, NV – Bicyclist Killed in Crash on N Virginia St near Panther Dr

Reno, NV (May 16, 2024) – A bicyclist lost their life in a crash in north Reno on Thursday, May 16. At approximately 2:30 p.m., the wreck occurred at the intersection of North Virginia Street and Panther Drive. Paramedics pronounced the bicyclist deceased at the scene a short time after the incident took place. The identity of the deceased victim has not been reported at this time. The driver stayed on-site after the accident and cooperated with the police. North Virginia Street was blocked from Parr Boulevard to US 395 while police and other responders worked at the scene.
