Las Vegas, NV – Woman Loses Life in Pedestrian Wreck on N 5th St near Brooks Ave

Las Vegas, NV (April 16, 2024) – A deadly hit-and-run accident took the life of one woman in North Las Vegas. 

The crash occurred early Saturday morning, March 13, just after midnight. According to reports from police, a man identified as 24-year-old Donald Boike struck a woman at the intersection of North 5th street and Brooks Avenue. Boike then fled the scene without stopping to render aid and was quickly apprehended and arrested near 5th Street and Carey Avenue. His vehicle reportedly sustained significant front-end damage and was found to have been involved in the collision. The deceased victim’s name has not been reported at this time. Police in Las Vegas continue to investigate.
