Las Vegas, NV – Two Killed in Wreck on I-11

Las Vegas, NV (June 1, 2024) – Two people were killed in an accident involving a wrong-way driver on Saturday afternoon near Boulder City in Las Vegas. According to information provided by the Nevada State Police, they responded to the scene at around 2:20 p.m. The wreck occurred on Interstate 11 near mile marker 6 in the southbound lanes approximately 8 miles away from Boulder City. The head-on accident involved a wrong-way driver who was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. A man and woman in the other vehicle were pronounced deceased on-site. The wrong-way motorist also had two minors in the vehicle that were transported to the hospital for evaluation. Police asked local drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
