Las Vegas, NV – Two Hurt in Crash on S Nellis Blvd & Winterwood Blvd
Las Vegas, NV (July 30, 2024) – A two-car wreck that ended in injuries occurred on Sunday, July 28, in Las Vegas. At approximately 7:30 p.m., the incident happened at the intersection of South Nellis Boulevard and Winterwood Boulevard. Police said that a woman, age 66, was operating a 2019 Chevrolet Trax when she was involved in a crash with another woman, age 22, in a 2015 Honda Accord. The Honda was headed north on Nellis in the far right lane approaching Winterwood Boulevard when it was involved in a collision with the Chevrolet. The impact forced both vehicles to spin out of control and exit the roadway, where they crashed into a block wall near the intersection.
Paramedics transported both drivers to an area hospital. The driver of the Chevrolet remains in critical condition. There is no information on the other victim’s condition. The local police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this collision.
