Las Vegas, NV – Pedestrian Critically Hurt in Wreck on Charleston Blvd

Las Vegas, NV (August 12, 2024) – A pedestrian sustained critical injuries after a suspected intoxicated driver struck him in the East Valley on Sunday night, August 11. At approximately 7:03 p.m., police were sent to the scene of the incident on Charleston Boulevard. Sources say the wreck happened east of Broadalbin Drive when a 2015 Audi A3 was headed east on Charleston. At the same time, a pedestrian was crossing the road. Consequently, the Audi and the pedestrian collided and the Audi fled the scene. The pedestrian was then transported to Sunrise Hospital where they were diagnosed with life-threatening injuries. The Audi driver was later located on Lamb Boulevard by another police officer and suspected of being intoxicated. Police in Las Vegas continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
