Las Vegas, NV – One Killed, One Hurt in Crash on Lake Mead Blvd near US 95

Las Vegas, NV (July 28, 2024) – State Police in Nevada are currently investigating a car crash that happened between multiple vehicles in Las Vegas. Reports from authorities show the incident took place at around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 28 near the intersection with Lake Mead Boulevard and US 95. Responders were sent to the scene shortly after the accident to help the people involved. One adult driver lost their life at the scene, and a woman was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries she sustained. Lake Mead Boulevard was closed in both directions while US 95 was closed from Rainbow Boulevard to Rock Springs. Drivers were advised to use alternate routes while emergency responders were working in the area.
