Las Vegas, NV – Man Loses Life in Crash on Bermuda Rd near Cactus Ave

Las Vegas, NV (May 6, 2024) – A man, age 31, lost his life in a traffic accident that occurred on Monday morning, May 6, in the South Valley. The accident occurred near the intersection of Bermuda Road and Cactus Avenue. Preliminary reports show a 2003 Lexus ES300 was headed south on Bermuda and Cactus Avenue when it was involved in a collision with a 2008 Mercedes Benz S-Class. Police say it occurred at around 12:15 a.m. on Monday, May 6. Paramedics transported both drivers to University Medical Center to receive the necessary medical care for their injuries. The driver of the Lexus was declared deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital. The Mercedes driver sustained injuries deemed moderate. Additionally, police report the driver of the Mercedes appeared to be intoxicated at the time of the accident. Police continue to investigate the details of the wreck.
