Las Vegas, NV – Jade Hernandez Loses Life in Wreck on US 95 near SR-147

Las Vegas, NV (June 13, 2024) – A fatal traffic accident happened in Las Vegas on June 9. At approximately 2:00 p.m., Risa Hannah, 29, was driving a vehicle accompanied by one passenger, Jade Hernandez, 27, and another adult female. Hannah was driving on US 95 when she attempted to exit onto State Route 147, but her vehicle spun out of control. The Nissan rotated clockwise and headed left into the unpaved gore area before overturning several times before it came to an uncontrolled stop on its roof. Hannah was transported to an area medical center with non-life-threatening injuries and later arrested. Hernandez suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on-site. The second passenger was also injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
