Las Vegas, NV – Injury Accident on I-15 near Russell Rd

Las Vegas, NV (August 9, 2024) – One or more people were hurt in a traffic collision reported at around 7:00 p.m. on August 9. Several emergency crews were dispatched to the scene on Interstate 15 near Russell Road/Exit 36.

Reports from the Nevada Department of Public Safety show that the right lane of the interstate was blocked for some time while emergency responders worked to help injured victims at the scene. Those needing further examination and treatment were transported to local hospitals. The extent of the injuries suffered in the collision remains unknown at this time. Police in Las Vegas continue to investigate the circumstances leading to the crash.
