Las Vegas, NV – Fatal Hit & Run Wreck on Harmon Ave near Paradise Rd

Las Vegas, NV (July 22, 2024) – Police in Las Vegas are currently investigating a fatal hit-and-run wreck that occurred on Sunday, July 21. At approximately 12:30 a.m., emergency responders were sent to the scene on Harmon Avenue near Paradise Road. Police say witness statements and evidence from the scene show that a pedestrian was attempting to cross Harmon Avenue just west of Paradise Road when an SUV headed west on Harmon Avenue crossed the pedestrian’s path. The SUV struck the pedestrian and threw him onto the roadway before driving away.

The pedestrian, age 62, was transported to an area hospital, where he later lost his life. Police are currently searching for the hit-and-run driver, who has not been identified at this time. The vehicle was described as a midsized SUV with a dark tint and chrome rims. The local police are currently investigating the crash.
