Las Vegas, NV – Driver Dies in Car Accident on US 95 at MM 107
Las Vegas, NV (August 15, 2024) – State Police in Nevada say that a major accident took place on U.S. Highway 95 northwest of Las Vegas early Monday morning, resulting in the death of a driver.
A silver 2020 Toyota Camry, for reasons still under investigation, veered off the highway following a collision with at least one other vehicle. According to troopers with the Nevada State Police, the incident was first reported around 6:45 a.m. at mile marker 107, just 16 miles outside the Las Vegas city limits.
One driver, whose identity has not yet been publicly disclosed, was promptly transported to a nearby hospital but was subsequently pronounced dead. Authorities are still piecing together the events preceding the collision. The ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Highway Patrol-Traffic Homicide Unit, and witnesses were asked to step forward as soon as possible.
