Las Vegas, NV – One Killed in Collision on Centennial Pkwy near Bruce St
Las Vegas, NV (March 14, 2024) – One person lost their life on Sunday, March 10, when their vehicle caught fire after it was hit by another car whose occupants fled the scene.
Police in North Las Vegas report they responded to the scene of the incident on the Centennial Parkway near Bruce Street at approximately 1:30 a.m. They found a Hyundai Sonata completely engulfed in flames and a 2020 Dodge Challenger with severe front-end damage. After the flames were extinguished, a body was found inside the vehicle. The individual’s identity has not been reported at this time. Police report the Hyundai was struck from behind by a Dodge Challenger that was traveling at a high rate of speed headed west on Centennial Parkway toward Bruce Street. Police in Las Vegas are still investigating.
