Las Vegas, NV – Man Killed in Hit & Run Wreck on Paradise Rd near Tropicana Ave

Las Vegas, NV (August 26, 2024) – A hit-and-run crash happened in Las Vegas on Monday, August 26. At approximately 3:10 a.m., emergency crews were sent to the incident scene on Paradise Road near Tropicana Avenue. Police report a 2010 Nissan Altima struck a man walking on Paradise. The Nissan was found parked nearby in a parking lot just west of Maryland Parkway. The driver, identified as Van Deangelo Burrell, 33, was found and arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run. Police in Las Vegas are still investigating the circumstances of the incident.
