Nevada Car Wrecks

Las Vegas, NV - Scooter Rider Struck by Vehicle on S Las Vegas Blvd near Sahara AveTraffic accidents have become one of the main reasons people in the state of Nevada and throughout the United States end up with serious injuries or worse. Across the nation, auto accidents are among the top ten reasons individuals lose their lives. Additionally, people ages 15-20 most often end up with fatal injuries due to auto accidents in the United States. Every day, more than 17,000 traffic collisions happen throughout the country that injure around 7,500 people and take the lives of approximately 100.

When pedestrians become involved in traffic accidents, they almost always sustain serious injuries due to being unprotected against the force of fast-moving vehicles. On average, in the United States, pedestrians are involved in approximately 17% of auto accidents in the US. Over 6,000 pedestrians lose their lives per year in the US, and, in Nevada specifically, several dozen pedestrians lose their lives yearly.

Also in Nevada, more than 50,000 auto accidents happen annually that injure tens of thousands of people and take the lives of hundreds. Regrettably, driver negligence is the cause of the majority of these crashes. According to information provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, over 94% of car accidents are caused by driver negligence in the US.
