Reno, NV – Parr Blvd & N Virginia St Crash Ends in Injuries

Reno, NV (August 16, 2024) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car crash in the Reno area on Thursday, August 15. Paramedics were sent to the scene that night at around 3:30 p.m. at the corner of Parr Boulevard and N. Virginia Street. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and the crash victims were transferred to nearby hospitals after being treated by attending medical personnel. 

The extent and number of resulting injuries have not been determined at this time. Authorities advised nearby motorists to avoid the scene and to prepare for significant delays while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris in order to reopen the road to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials, and more information will be provided as it continues.
