Nye County, NV – One Killed in Car Wreck on US 95

Nye County, NV (May 13, 2024) – One person lost their life after a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Nye County on Monday morning, police said. Sources say the wreck occurred at approximately 2:19 a.m. on US 95 approximately 85 miles northwest of Las Vegas. Nevada State Police and other responders were working at the scene for an extended period. At this time, the person who lost their life has not been identified. One other person sustained injuries but was not taken to the hospital. Police continue to investigate the details of the accident.
