Nevada Reckless Driving Crashes

Reno, NV - Collision at Geiger Grade & Toll Rd Ends in InjuriesCar crashes in the United States happen for various reasons. Nevertheless, the main one is driver negligence. The most frequently seen form of driver negligence is driver distraction, which accounts for over 400,000 accidents every year across the country. Sadly, more than 3,000 individuals end up losing their lives in crashes caused by distracted driving.

Furthermore, distracted driving claims the lives of over nine individuals daily in the US, and roughly 90 percent of recorded car crashes are the result of human error. There’s a compelling reason why distracted driving is rapidly surpassing other behaviors as the country’s top cause of auto accidents. You could travel the length of a football field at highway speeds in the time it takes to send a text, and distracted driving causes over 3,000 fatal crashes annually. Moreover, statistics provided by the National Safety Council show that the odds of dying in a car accident are about one in 103 in the United States.

Recent studies have found that distracted motorists take their eyes off the road nearly 10 percent of the time, more than enough to cause a life-changing auto accident. Hence, it is vital that you are ready to protect your rights after a serious crash to make sure you can obtain the full recovery you are owed.
