Actions like distracted driving, intoxicated driving, fatigued driving, and speeding most often contribute to car accidents today, causing over 90% of reported collisions on American roadways.
Across the United States, more than 17,000 car wrecks happen every day, resulting in injuries to around 7,500 individuals and claiming the lives of over 100 people. Annually, about 3 million individuals suffer injuries in car accidents, with approximately 40,000 losing their lives. When we consider that the majority of these accidents are caused by the actions of negligent drivers, we realize that the United States has a serious public health crisis on its hands.
