N Las Vegas, NV – Motorcyclist Dies in Crash on Hwy 215 at Decatur Blvd
North Las Vegas, NV (August 18, 2024) – A fatal collision on Highway 215 westbound in North Las Vegas was reported by the Nevada State Police on Thursday afternoon, August 15, and officers have released further details in connection with the crash.
According to the police, a motorcycle and a pickup vehicle collided on the 215 Highway between Decatur Boulevard and Aliante Parkway at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The adult male motorcyclist died at the scene of the incident, which also shut down westbound 215 for at least two hours. The driver of the pickup remained at the site and is currently assisting the police.
At this time, the motorcyclist’s identity remains unknown as police continue to investigate. Witnesses were asked to get in touch with the North Las Vegas PD or NSP troopers if they had information to share with officers.
