Las Vegas, NV – Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on Charleston Blvd near Hollywood Blvd

Las Vegas, NV (July 5, 2024) – Charleston and Hollywood Boulevards in Las Vegas have been closed after a fatal hit-and-run accident. At approximately 2:40 a.m. on Friday, June 5, a GMCV Sierra pickup truck was headed south on Hollywood Boulevard approaching a red light. A Honda was passing through a green light headed west on Charleston at the same time. Police said the collision occurred when the pickup drove through the red light and hit the passenger side of the Honda. The pickup truck then fled the scene before police arrived. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the driver and passenger present inside the Honda deceased. The driver was 18 and the passenger was 19, both residents of Las Vegas.
